WHY DIRECTV SHOULD GO INTO THE BAR BUSINESS

DirecTV, bolsterd by the FCC and federal government, is a modern-day monopoly akin to the bank and railroad trusts of the late 19th century.  In establishing their enormous commercial fees for premium sports viewing, they do not consider market size or the amount of revenue(or lack thereof) generated by the business.  Since they are the exclusive commercial carrier of NFL Sunday Ticket, they are the de facto owners of every dedicated sports bar in America.  They might as well go ahead and open their own sports bars.  We no longer carry NFL Sunday Ticket or any other premium packages for one simple reason - we cannot afford it.
